As a beginner forex trader, how long do I need to trade on a demo account, before I go live?
I dont know if this is a thing, but i tend to be more profitable on a demo account, and i do not understand why
Lol.. are you profitable or lucky?
It may have something to do with your psychology.
Think of demo trade as getting to know yourself as a trader. Until you master your tactics and are confident in your strategy, you should not quit demo trade.
Don't trade demo account forever. Use it for a while, find your strategy, then fund your account with little capital. this will give you a taste of trading real money and help condition your mindset.
Yeah.. feeling the pain of losing money is part of the process.
It varies for different people cos people learn at difference pace. so basically when you are more comfortable.
I did not trade demo. i started with $100, lost everything the next week. my advice? establish you trading rules, test it on demo, then trade live with little capital.
Never stop oh, even when you go live, use demo account to practice and improve your strategy.
It's up to you to decide when you feel comfortable and confident enough to go live.
