Is there a metric for measuring your level of expertise as a trader. My friend has been trading for close to 10 ten years and he's doing pretty good for himself, but each time he's called a proffessional trader he says he's not a proffessional trade yet. Now i'm wondering, what metric is used for measuring your level of expertse?

A real pro isn’t just someone who wins trades; it’s someone who can survive any market condition without blowing up their account.
Your friend probably feels like he’s still learning because trading is a never-ending game of adaptation. The moment you think you’ve mastered it, the market humbles you.
Consistent profitability, optimum risk management, reasonable winrate.
Can you really call yourself a proffessional trader without some sort of proffessional experience?
Major metric for determining your success should be consistent profitability, how profitable has he been for a period of 3 years and above.
